Coding & Digital Systems Intern
Brown Sugar Babe is looking for a Coding & Digital Systems Intern to support the growth and improvement of our website, digital systems, and internal organization processes. This internship is ideal for a student who is creative, technically curious, and excited to apply their ideas to help a growing beauty and lifestyle brand improve its operations.
The intern will assist with revamping the Brown Sugar Babe website, improving internal workflows, streamlining digital processes, and researching tools or systems to help the company become more efficient. This role is not limited to coding alone. We are looking for someone who can think critically, bring fresh ideas, identify areas for improvement, and help create practical solutions that support the company's growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist with reviewing and improving the Brown Sugar Babe website
- Support updates related to website layout, navigation, product pages, customer experience, and overall functionality
- Identify areas where the website can be improved, simplified, or made more user-friendly
- Help organize internal digital systems, files, documents, spreadsheets, and workflows
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in computer science, information technology, web development, business, digital media, or a related field
- Interest in website development, digital systems, e-commerce, automation, or process improvement
- Base-level knowledge of coding, web platforms, or digital tools
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Shopify, Google Workspace, Canva, Notion, Airtable, or similar tools is a plus
