Social Skills Co-Leader
We are seeking a Co-Leader for Social Skills Group Therapy Sessions to support clinicians in facilitating weekly, one-hour social skills groups. This position pays $30 per hour.
This opportunity is especially well-suited for individuals who have completed their Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field and are currently completing supervised clinical hours toward professional licensure. We are looking for someone who is actively working toward becoming licensed and would like to gain additional experience providing group-based clinical support.
The Social Skills Group Co-Leader will assist the Group Leader with implementing group activities, maintaining a positive and supportive environment, and ensuring that group rules and regulations are followed. Responsibilities may also include reviewing documentation, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and supporting the overall flow of each group session.
The Co-Leader will collaborate with the Group Leader regarding the curriculum, session plans, planned activities, and expectations to ensure consistency and effective support throughout the group sessions.
The Co-Leader will report directly to the Group Leader and work collaboratively to help create a safe, structured, and engaging environment for participants.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Currently completing supervised clinical hours toward professional licensure or actively working toward licensure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in stressful situations
- Reliable and punctual
- Group leadership skills and an understanding of group dynamics are a plus, but not required
