Business Administration & HR Intern 
Location: Irwindale, California 
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 16–24 hours per week, Monday through Thursday. Preferred hours are between 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with flexibility around class schedules and business needs. 
Pay: $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Human Ingenuity is a growing nutritional supplement development and manufacturing company. We work with health and wellness brands to develop, manufacture, package, and deliver high-quality powders, capsules, and softgels.

Position Summary

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable intern to support our front office and assist our Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and other team members with administrative, finance, and human-resources-related activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in business administration, human resources, accounting, finance, or a related field to gain practical experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The intern will interact with company leadership, employees, vendors, visitors, payroll contacts, and our third-party HR provider.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and provide professional reception desk coverage.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
  • Receive, sort, open, and distribute business mail.
  • Assist the CEO, CFO and other team members with administrative and finance-related projects.
  • Communicate with payroll contacts and our third-party HR provider when directed.
  • Help organize employee documents and maintain confidential records.
  • Assist with onboarding paperwork, employee communications, and other HR support activities.
  • Scan, file, copy, and organize documents.
  • Help coordinate meetings, appointments, and office activities.
  • Perform data entry and assist with spreadsheets.
  • Provide administrative support to other team members as needed.
  • Support other administrative projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in business administration, human resources, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional, friendly, and comfortable interacting with employees and visitors.
  • Organized and attentive to detail.
  • Able to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dependable, willing to learn, and able to follow through on assignments.
