Health Heralds (previously Donate Essentials) is an international youth-led 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area that focuses on making health literacy accessible to the average person.

Do you enjoy keeping things organized and running smoothly? Passionate about websites, content updates, and making sure people can easily find what they need?

Good news—we are currently recruiting a Digital Operations Associate! As Digital Operations Associate, you’ll be a key member of the Health Heralds team, with the responsibilities of: 

• Content updates: Ensure all website content is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to the nonprofit’s mission and activities 
• Event promotion: Highlight upcoming events, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities
• Donations: Implement and maintain a user-friendly online donation platform
• Testimonials and impact stories: Showcase the organization's impact through stories and testimonials from beneficiaries and volunteers
• SEO Optimization to increase impressions on the website

Requirements: 

• High school or university student (ages 13-25) 
• Fluent in English 
• Comfortable using digital communication tools and platforms 

Please note: 

• Access to a computer with a stable internet connection is expected for active participation in all aspects of the leadership position. 
• Applicants that are considered may be contacted for an interview. 
• The time commitment for this position is between 4-6 hours per week. 

Due Date: All applicants will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Ideal candidates are pre-meds, interested in healthcare, or want to make health literacy more accessible.
